How To Use The Tangie Hand Wash Concentrate

Must dissolve first!

You determine the dilution ratio based on how bubbly you like your hand soap.

Starting ratio:

Cut the bar into 8 equal parts.
Slice it lengthwise first, then cut it in half two times on the short side. This will give you 8 equal pieces.

Drop one part (about 0.35 grams) into 2 cups of water.
Let sit until dissolved.
For unscented, add 5–10 drops of your favorite essential oils for scent.
Fill your container and dispense as usual.

If you prefer a more bubbly hand-washing experience, use less water.

No real effort required—just drop the bar (or a piece) of the hand wash concentrate into water, and it will completely dissolve within a few hours. Use regular tap water; no hot water, stirring, or mixing is required.

Choosing a dispenser

We highly recommend using a foaming dispenser due to the thin viscosity of the liquid hand soap.
There are many pumpers on the market, so we cannot guarantee this liquid hand soap will work well in every one of them.
However, we encourage you to first refill a dispenser you already own.

Tips To Use Tangie Hand Wash Concentrate

This soap is not homogenized and may settle between uses.

You do NOT need to shake the mixture before using.
A gentle movement of the soap will quickly swirl it back together.

Pro tip: Grab your soap dispenser by the top of the pumper, tilt it forward slightly, then set it back upright before dispensing the soap. This small movement is enough to reintegrate the ingredients.

What Ingredients We Don’t Use And Why

Synthetic fragrances are exempt from labeling requirements and considered “trade secrets.” there is no way to identify individual ingredients, and they may include phthalates, which have been linked to asthma aggravation, headaches, allergic reactions, and potential long-term central nervous system disorders.

Parabens are commonly found in cosmetics as preservatives and have a suspected link to breast cancer. it’s important to avoid deodorants containing parabens, as they are applied close to the breast area daily over many years.

Sodium lauryl sulfate (sls) and sodium laureth sulfate (sles) are chemicals present in nearly all shampoos, scalp treatments, hair color, toothpastes, body washes, and liquid hand soaps. nearly 16,000 studies in the pubmed science library discuss the toxicity of these chemicals. although sls originates from coconuts, it is anything but natural.

1,4-dioxane must be mentioned in discussions about sls/sles because the manufacturing process contaminates these chemicals with 1,4-dioxane, a known carcinogen (not to be confused with dioxin).

Propylene glycol is primarily used as a solvent and aids absorption through the skin.

Triclosan is added to cosmetics as an antibacterial agent. it belongs to a class of chemicals known as chlorophenols and is suspected of causing cancer in humans.

Phosphates act like fertilizer in our water systems, promoting algae and aquatic weed growth, which depletes oxygen needed for healthy fish and aquatic life.

Thank you for asking. Yes, it can. We’ve had many customers give positive results using a pumper of their choice that is not a foaming soap dispenser. Other people do not like it. Because there is such a variety of pumps on the market, we cannot guarantee your pumper will work as you intended. It is always best to refill and use something you already have, but keep in mind, we recommend foaming pumpers because of the thin consistency of the liquid soap once it is dissolved.
